A Unique Housing Experience
Friends Housing was founded in 1952 by Quakers with a mission of creating affordable, urban housing for a diverse community. We are collectively owned by resident members who work together for the continual prosperity of the complex.
Friends Housing Cooperative comprises an entire city block of 1850's brick townhomes which are by surrounding landscaped grounds. The open courtyard is the central feature of our community where community movies, BBQs and celebrations are enjoyed by all.
The complex is composed of 83 uniquely designed 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units.
Laundry facilities are located on the premises.
Complimentary off-street parking is available.
We are on the Septa Bus Route 47 and convenient to the Broad Street and Market Frankford lines
Friends Housing Cooperative is located amidst the dynamic Northern Liberties and East Poplar neighborhoods, just minutes away from the Center City business and shopping district.
